  2011-Apr 1850 Census: land value $800. Interesting to note that all children are marked as having attended school. 1860 Census: land value $800 and personal $330. Less than son Walter’s. Found death record in VT vital record search. cause "Sudden, not known" not much other information. Day is off by 1 from History Newbury book. Data from book on History of Newbury VT. Is very specific on where Walter came from in Scotland & why: “from Baldornoc Parish (Baldernock?) family had same farm for 400 years but rents were raised and they emigrated. Went to Canada first, Montreal, Broome then Vermont: Craftsbury, Barnet, Rygate and finally Newbury” 2011-Mar Referenced on son (walter) death certificate
