Mrs. Adaline M. Matthews passed away at the home of her son, George W. in Keene Feb 11 after a long and painful illness, aged 79 years. She leaves two daughters and five sons, one of whom is Herman W. of this town; she has been in his home at different times and made many friends here. the funeral was held in Keene Friday afternoon and the body placed in the tomb at Woodlawn Cemetery and later will be taken to Henniker for burial in the family lot.
